What’s Included in Our Program

As part of your Live-in Language & Cultural Exchange experience, the Program arrangement may include:

  • Accommodation with your Host Family
  • Daily meals / food
  • Your own private bedroom
  • Program-related insurance
  • Chinese language courses
  • Airport pick-up & arrival support
  • One- way flight ticket or round-way flight tickets or flight subsidy  (depend on the length of the program)
  • Monthly personal allowance: RMB 1,800
  • 1.5–2 days of weekly rest
  • Pre-arrival & after-arrival Cultural and Daily Life Orientation
  • Completion Goodwill Support where applicable ( 300€-1200€)
  • Approx. 6 days of cultural leave per 6 months

Program Overview

What you do

  • As a Participant in our Live-in Language & Cultural Exchange Program, you will share everyday life with a Chinese Host Family and experience Chinese culture from within the family. A central part of the experience is language and cultural exchange with the children, giving both you and your Host Family the opportunity to learn from each other through daily interaction.
  • Within the family, Participants are welcomed in the spirit of an older sister or brother rather than a nanny or household worker. You can naturally share your language, culture, interests and experiences with the children while building a genuine relationship with them.Language and cultural interaction is usually around 25 hours per week on average, with the actual schedule arranged flexibly according to the Host Family’s daily routine and the Program arrangement. Your time together may include conversations, reading, games, music, drawing, outdoor activities, sports, walks, cultural activities and other shared interests. The emphasis is on natural communication and meaningful interaction rather than formal teaching or childcare duties.
  • Household chores are not part of the Program. Participants are only expected to take care of their own personal space, such as keeping their bedroom tidy and cleaning the bathroom after their own use.
  • The Program is also about what you experience and discover. By sharing everyday life with a Host Family, attending Chinese language courses where applicable, exploring your local community and experiencing Chinese traditions and daily life firsthand, you have the opportunity to develop your Chinese, gain a deeper understanding of the culture and create meaningful connections during your time in China.

What you pay

Our agency offers the program for applicants that is completely FREE of charge.

At our agency, we pride ourselves on being professional and reliable, and we NEVER charge applicants fees.You will be responsible for the costs associated with preparing your application materials, and you may need to pay for a Chinese entry visa directly to local visa center and the Chinese embassy.There are no hidden charges or fees when you apply for our  program . Additionally, upon your completion of the program, you will be reimbursed for your visa fee charged by the Chinese embassy .
