Our Host Families are carefully selected and genuinely interested in cultural exchange. During your Au Pair China experience, you’ll become part of everyday family life, sharing your language and culture and building a meaningful connection with the children as an older sister or brother.
Chinese Language & Culture
Looking to immerse yourself in Mandarin Chinese language and culture? we offer a unique opportunity to learn Mandarin with 10-15 classes/week (45 minutes/class) and 1 Chinese Cultural Course/month during the semester. With Mandarin being spoken by almost a billion people worldwide, our program provides you with a valuable skill that can be used all over the world.

Since 2012, Star Exchange has focused on carefully selected Host Families, thoughtful matching, cultural and daily-life orientation, and ongoing support throughout the Program.
As a Participant in our Live-in Language & Cultural Exchange Program, you can experience China not simply as a visitor, but as part of everyday family life.
