Short-Term Language & Cultural Exchange in China
If you’ve always been curious about China but only have time during the summer/winter holiday, our short-term (2–3 months) program is your perfect opportunity. Make the most of your summer/winter—immerse yourself in a new culture, live with a local family, and create unforgettable memories! Share your language and interests with the family’s children while discovering everyday life in China.
What to Expect
• Accommodation with a host family and a private bedroom
• Daily meals or food
• Language and cultural interaction with the family’s children
• Chinese language learning according to course availability
• Orientation and ongoing communication.
• Any flight support, insurance arrangements, and Completion Goodwill Support are confirmed in your individual agreement.

Requirements
·18–25 years old
High school graduate or equivalent
·Good spoken English
·Able to provide a clear criminal certificate
·In good health
·Good communication skills
·Respectful of Host Family rules and cultural differences
·Enjoy interacting and spending time with children
·Open-minded and interested in cultural exchange
·Interested in experiencing everyday life in China
·Able to independently meet the relevant entry requirements
Star Exchange invites you to experience the adventure of a lifetime with our 2/3-month Summer/Winter Holiday Program. Unlike traditional Au Pair arrangements, our program focuses on language learning and cultural exchange. Participants are not expected to do household chores for the host family or provide cleaning or domestic services. They are, however, expected to keep their own bedrooms clean and tidy as part of everyday living.
