Au Pair China
The term “Au Pair” comes from the French “on a par” or “equal to”.The Au Pair Program is an educational and cultural exchange program with a child care component.
You have the flexibility to stay in China for a duration ranging from 3 to 12 months. We offer placements in China’s major cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Chongqing, and more.
As a language tutor, your role will involve working with children in a host family setting. You will communicate with them in either English or your native language and engage in various activities such as music, drawing, painting, outdoor sports, cycling, and walks in the park. It’s important to note that your responsibilities normally will not include the household chores(except for cleaning/tidying up your own bedroom). This is a distinct role from that of a nanny.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to enroll in Chinese language courses as an optional benefit. These courses will be sponsored by the host family and can be conducted by a private tutor or offered through a university or educational institute.
